This section of our website serves as a tribute and memorial to our friend and colleage, Bill Leaf.
Bill died on Sunday, January 8, 2006 at the hands of an allegedly drunken driver who drove the wrong way on Interstate 81 and slammed head-on into Bill's car.
Bill was just 25.
He is remembered for his hard work and his ability to weave humor into his feature stories. Away from the microphone, Bill made us all laugh. He was the funniest guy in any crowd. Our memories of that laughter sustain us when we think about the crash that ended his life and took him from us.
As you listen to his voice, please consider this: Drinking and driving takes good people away from us.
Bill, we still think of you often, and laugh. We miss you.

"
In Loving Memory of Bill Leaf" by Tiffany Latino
A little known fact is that Bill was a champion cell phone texter and would often text "Good Luck" to his friends. This is a special poem written by friend and coworker, Tiffany.
